Each year I find myself feeling the pressure to jump on the bandwagon with all the folks lobbing wafty and ambitions goals to begin anew on January 1st. We make statements with great intent that sound something like this …

This year I will lose those last 10 pounds, or I will exercise three times a week, or even – this is the year I stop smoking.

It is easy to get caught up in the enthusiasm and jump on the fully loaded resolution bandwagon!

And for some this is a great new beginning – the ambition for change is implemented AND lasts a life iStock_000011164093Small (2)time. In my case, I can’t recall a single New Year’s resolution that I kept. They were all just empty promises along the failure trail.

I really think it may have something to do with my interpretation of the word resolution. It starts with re – which to me indicates that I will just have to do it again. And solution, to me at least, implies that there is a problem that requires fixing.

So, why would I take repeated action to fix me?

I am not a problem that needs to be solved again and again. OK – so I over think things – that is one of many gifts 😉

In 2015, I am upgrading the resolution bandwagon and I invite you to join me.

This year I will allow my focus to be on SOULutions rather than resolutions.

We are all doing the best we can with where we are and what we have to work with. Together, we are on the trail to awakening our souls. Our journeys are neither competitive nor comparative.

While we learn and grow as we dare to fail, we naturally make adjustments that better support our newly discovered light.

My invitation begins with a heartfelt prayer that we all recognize the blessings that are waiting for us.

My focus this year is to fully allow the SOULutions the Universe has to offer. My mantra is “God’s Will is my will. How may I be of Service?”.

I have faith that each and every step is supported and all that is needed already exists. Flexibility and openness allow the Universal Energy to move and shape us for the highest good of all; for we are all one.

May our souls grow by leaps and bounds as we spread our wings and fly in 2015.

Blessings for all the best
